What's in the training
Four things nobody tellsbeginner creators
Charge for usage rights, not just the video
The single change that jumped my average deal value. Stop handing brands perpetual worldwide rights inside a flat fee — price the term instead.
A portfolio you can build tonight
Mine was a Canva deck. Intro page, a few niche sections, three examples each. That's it. It landed over £5k in deals.
One-off deals vs. retainers
Per-video work pays fast and stays random. Retainers and brand accounts stack. Know which one you're building before you pitch.
The replies that protect your rate
Word-for-word scripts for 'send your rate card', 'can you do it cheaper' and 'our terms are net 60' — without torching the deal.

"I'd been sat on a half-finished portfolio for four months. Josh made me publish the ugly Canva version and pitch 20 brands that week. Two came back. One of them still books me monthly."
"The usage rights bit alone paid for the whole thing. I was handing over perpetual worldwide rights for £120 a video like a mug. Now I quote per term and brands just… pay it."
"No massive following, no fancy camera, filmed on my iPhone in a rented flat. Josh's brief-to-delivery checklist is the only reason I didn't fumble my first job."
"I copied his negotiation scripts word for word. 'I can't move on the rate, but I can adjust the scope.' Brand agreed in one reply. Still can't believe it works that cleanly."
"Six months of Saturdays batch filming and Sundays editing. Not glamorous. But I handed my notice in last month and my calendar is booked to February."
"Josh is the only person who explained the difference between one-off UGC and running a brand's account properly. I went retainer-first and my income actually stopped being random."

Who's teaching this
Hi, I'm Josh.
I'm a UK-based UGC creator. Most of my work you'll never see, it lives on brand channels and inside paid ads, not on my page. That's the part people miss about this job.
I started with no following, no gear and no clue, applying to briefs on free platforms and pitching brands into the void. Five months later I'd made around £18k alongside a full-time job, working with brands I'd wanted to shoot for since day one.
What actually moved the needle was boring: keeping the portfolio simple, pitching before I felt ready, and learning to price usage rights properly. That's what I teach — no guru nonsense, just the reps nobody sees.
Before you ask
Common questions
No. Brands are buying content, not your audience — most of my work never touches my own page. It lives on the brand's channels and in their paid ads.
All you need is a camera, a laptop and the willingness to put in the reps.
I just happened to start a few months before you did. Come to the live training and I'll walk you through the whole thing.
